    Hi Momma Kath!

Thanks for that piece of advice regarding DH/supps.! I WILL keep that in mind for the future!! ;o)

I haven't made it back to share our story yet, but we are finally pregnant following a Gonal-F/IUI (and BD-lol) cycle and GOD'S GRACE! I am still having first trimester jitters...will everything really be ok, etc...?!?!? I'll be 8 weeks on Saturday, July 6. We have seen the baby's heartbeat twice now and it seems to be nice and strong! I am battling on/off pg sickness...but I actually worry more on days like today when I don't feel too bad...LOL! Yesterday, for example, I felt horrible all day. Two days ago, I felt as good as I do today...Puzzling!? I was quite sick with DS#2 and hardly sick at all with DS#1. It's true...every pg is different! I didn't suffer through years of infertility ttc my first two, though, so the worry wasn't quite as elevated or extreme... In other words, I was more at peace and able to enjoy the pgs sooner!

Well, I hope and pray (and ask others' to also) everyday that this baby will make his/her healthy and grand appearance next Feb. as scheduled! I hope to be able to share my story on your board sometime in the upcoming months... My DH is so sure everything will be just fine! ;o) I pray that he's right!

You are such an amazing inspiration and support, Momma Kath\!
Thank you so much for "being there" and understanding during
some of the hardest parts of my (our) ttc journey!
I wish you nothing but the best!

Many BLESSINGS to you and your family!!

I stumbled across this wonderful website when I was ttc almost 3 years ago
I have PCOS and was able to find so much information from the other ladies here...
I also formed some very powerful bonds and connections with the other women struggling with the same problems.

After almost a year of trying unsuccessfully a family friend
(who is a endocrinologist) suggested Glucophage....
after 6 mos. of taking the glucophage it worked!
(Glucophage, Clomid, HCG and artificial insemination)
I had a fabulous PG and on August 16, 2001 delivered Jacob Cameron.
I'm now thrilled to be the mommy of the best little guy in the world
    (in my opinion ;-) ).

I think I'm ready to start trying again......
now I have the added bonus of being 35.
I'll definitely utilize the wonderful resources I have found here.
    Thanks to everyone.

My DH and I have been trying to get PG off and on for over a year
(diligently over the past 6 months.)
I held my FMU for an hour because I was afraid of a neg. result.
It was a BFP@ 13 DPO!!! My DH and I Yahhoo'ed so loud that
we woke our 4 year old DS.I've been drinking about
four cups of green tea,red ras.leaf tea and,or pregnancy tea every day.
    From CD1 to O DAY I take vitex,lecithin,epo.
After O DAY I stop taking vitex and epo,
and start taking flax seed oil.
I take 1 baby aspirin every day,
along with a pre-natal,also take an extra zinc and folic acid.
I finally broke down and read
    TCOYF
    from cover to cover.
The book inspired me to start temping and checking my fertile signs.
That allowed my DH and I to BD on the most favorable days.
We BD'd for four days prior to and the day of O.
I guess it worked because here I am writing my own sucess story!

Thank you so much for this TTC site...
the things I learned are what put me here today!

Well, I do not know if it was the False Unicorn Root, the baby aspirin or the whole body tonic,
the V8 Splash, or everything just starts lining up in proper order,
but I was a day late today and took an afternoon HPT.
    Whammo!
It was positive. I cannot believe it.
My edd is August 5, 2003. That will be the 4 year anniversary of my
    Mother-in-laws untimely death.
What a wonderful thing, to look forward to the
celebration of a new life instead of mouring her death.
I am sure she is looking down and smiling!
    Beth
(whose husband may just be addicted to those whole body tonic pills)

I've never posted on this site, but
have read almost every single success story here
while my husband and I tried to conceive.
Now, after 18 months of trying I'm happy to say
    we are pregnant!!
I was too afraid to e-mail before now,
but I am 12 weeks along and we are so incredibly happy.
We're feeling a little more confident that this pregnancy
    will go to full term.
After 3 months of 50 mg of Clomid,
3 months after an HSG and
6 months of taking EPO and Flaxseed oil,
we finally succeeded on the third month of Clomid.

    Here's our story...
We had gone in to see an infertility specialist on
Sept 9th, and were very happy with the doctor.
All we had to do was wait until my next cycle started,
then we were going to start another round of Clomid
and our first IUI attempt with an HCG shot.
Well, we waited and waited and my period didn't come.
This was the first time in 17 months I actually
WANTED my period to come so we could get started with IUI,
but a week and three pregnancy tests later (all negative),
still no period. So the doctor's office asked that
I come in for a blood test to see if I was pregnant
"just in case," and to check my progesterone level
to see if I even ovulated.
I had taken 4 ovulation tests at the appropriate time,
but I never got a positive LH surge that cycle.
I was always able to get positives on the ovulation kits,
so this was very odd. I figured this cycle was shot
and my husband and I made love several times,
but not as frequently because I figured I hadn't ovulated.

So, I went in for the blood test and waited until 2:00 that day for the results.
    I "knew" I wasn't pregnant,
but I was curious as to what the heck my body was doing...
Why was my period so late?
I felt no symptoms or anything,
I just simply felt crampy and bloated like my period was about to show.
The nurse called at 2:04 and said my levels looked good.
I asked her what that meant?...
    What was she talking about?....
    What levels?
She said my HCG level was at 50!
    Pregnant at last! Unbelievable.

My husband and I have seen the heartbeat on an ultrasound, so things are going well. We're so thankful to God for this blessing and pray that the baby will grow strong and healthy. I can't believe it's actually happened and I'm still in shock. I think I finally let go that cycle... Maybe that's why we actually conceived. I have no idea when I ovulated or when conception actually took place. Who knows... what I do know is that I'm thankful to be sitting here today knowing there's a life growing inside me. What a miracle.
Thank you to Momma Kath for this wonderful web site!

    Hi.
My husband and found out we're pregnant on the third month of TTC.
    Your site along with
    Toni Weschler's book
    were invaluable resources!
The charting was key for us.
It's still amazing to think that this is happening.
    Thanks for a great resource.
It is one I'll share with all my friends who are TTC.
    Sissel

    O.k., here's my story.
I should probably start out by saying that
this website got me through many a dark and desparate hour
-you know that moment when you get your period-again!

In any case, my story goes back to when I was twenty,
I'm 38 now, and I had a large ovarian cyst removed
from my left side in addition to the fallopian tube
which was wrapped around the cyst.
Fast foward to my real attempt at getting pregnant
about two years ago. A year of unprotected sex got me wondering.
Began to chart Everything seemed normal, I was ovulating,
just not concieving. I then began a real regimmen:
    Vitex every morning.
    green tea,
    EPO days 1-14.
    Then flax after that.
Tons of carrot juice and water starting at about day 10.
This by the way really increased my cervical fluid.
I also began to see an acupuncturist every week and
    drank the herbs he prescribed.
Acupuncture is great for balancing and increasing fertility.
Now I am 9 months pregnant and feel exhuberant!
Oh, I forgot to tell you that my doctor ordered the exam
where they shoot fluid to see if the tubes are open HSG. I now forget the name of it, but it showed that my right side was indeed clear,
and no on the left side due to the surgery.
You only need one side to get pregnant.
My only advice to all of you is to do everything that you can do health wise,
    like taking your herbs, oils,
    keeping your stress levels down,
eating well etc and also to try to be patient.
    It will happen!

I wish I had been more patient, more calm, not so desparate.
As soon as a said "well, this is in God's hands",
    I got pregnant.
Good luck to all of you and thank you so much for all the inspiration!
